Australia’s Largest Community Lunch is part of a nationwide celebration themed ‘Your Place to Connect’, recognising the important role Neighbourhood Houses play in creating welcoming spaces where people can meet, share experiences, learn, and support one another.
We’re proud to join Neighbourhood Houses across the country in celebrating connection, community, and the strength of our local networks.
Our free Largest Community Lunch will feature a variety of guest speakers, including presentations by Erica from Mental Health & Wellbeing Local, Amanda and Natalie from 'This is your bookmark', and Niamh from Barwon Health as well as interactive activities around the theme of connection.
Whether you are a regular at Anakie Community House or have never stepped through our doors, this is the perfect opportunity to meet your neighbours, share a light lunch, and celebrate the spirit of our community.
