Our new Garden!!

Anakie Community House was thrilled to be selected for some grant funding from the Victorian State Government as part of their Tidy Towns program.

After consultation with the community we have come up with a design and will be commencing works over the next couple of weeks.

Our new garden will allow for more activities and events to be held at the House. The garden will be more open, with a mix of drought tolerant and native plants. We will incorporate structural elements such as logs and rocks which create areas for seating and children's nature play.

We are also planning a BBQ area for community gatherings.
