Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community while meeting new people. The Anakie Community House offers various opportunities for those interested in helping out.

Event Assistance

Volunteers are always needed for events. Particularly with set-up and clean-up, promotions, stall coordination. We host our annual Anakie Community Day every March

There are also opportunities to volunteer for ongoing programs.

• Tutoring: Have a skill to share? Volunteer as a tutor.

• Activities: Assist in coordinating activities during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

• Gardening: Join the Anakie community garden to help maintain the garden and grow fresh produce.

• Office Assistance: Help out with admin and marketing tasks

• Anakie Advocate: Help put the Advocate together, penning an article, or distributing to our community

• Organisation - Are you an organisation guru? Maintain our toy library, book share library and other tasks.
